Shepard Kramer, Vice President, Industry Relations
The early part of Shepard’s career started off in advertising agencies, namely Dentsu, Grey, McCann & Y&R. While at Grey, he supported the American Egg Board account in the wake of the “cholesterol crisis.” To help restore the egg’s credibility and reputation, his team focused their messaging on the numerous health benefits that eggs provide.
Shepard left the agency world to pursue a unique opportunity at the Association of National Advertisers (ANA), a 150-person organization representing 900+ client-side marketer members. The focus of the ANA is to help its members to build stronger brands, develop effective marketers and drive business growth for the marketing industry. During Shepard’s time at the ANA, he gained extensive experience in addressing both individual member and company pain points and industry issues. One of his key takeaways from this work was the knowledge that these issues can only be solved at the industry level — no one person or company can solve these problems alone. He trusts the same holds true for the fluid milk industry.
