MilkPEP has a new email address for our Trade and Industry communications
(Team@MilkPEP.org). We’d like to make sure all members are still receiving emails from
MilkPEP, so we’ve put together a quick guide for how to add Team@MilkPEP.org to the
safe senders list.

Gmail

Gmail does not have a conspicuous option to ‘whitelist’ contacts, but it automatically tracks
your activity and understands that if you interact with a sender (read or reply to the email), the
contact is safe. Spam-blocking algorithms can still get in the way occasionally, so adding a sender
to your contact list will ensure they’re automatically sent to your inbox. Add contacts
by following these steps:

  • Sign in to your Gmail account
  • Go to contacts.google.com and add the email address you’d like to safelist. Google
should now deliver the emails from your contact to your inbox.

If the emails are already in your spam folder, tell Gmail the emails are not spam by following these steps:

  • Go to your spam folder and search for the emails with the domain you’d like to whitelist (e.g. Team@MilkPEP.org)
  • Select an email from the domain and click “Not Spam” at the top of the email

You can also opt to create a filter for the domain as an extra step to ensure you receive our emails.

    • Click on the cog icon in the top-right corner, then Settings
    • Click on Filters, then Create a new filter
    • Enter the domain (Team@MilkPEP.org) you want to safelist in the From field
    • Click Create filter with this search
    • Select Never send it to spam In the box headed When a message arrives that matches this search
    • Click Create filter to finish

Outlook

The steps for Outlook.com email accounts also cover Windows Live Mail, Hotmail and MSN Mail.

    • Sign in to your Outlook.com account
    • Add the address to your contacts or safe senders
    • To add to your safe senders, click the cog icon in the top-right corner and click on View all Outlook settings
    • Then, go to Mail on the left-hand side toolbar and click on Junk email
    • Add the email address of the domain you’d like to safelist under Safe senders and domains

Yahoo! Mail

    • Sign in to your Yahoo! Mail account
    • Add the domain to your Yahoo! Mail Contacts. Yahoo! Should deliver email from addresses in your contacts.

You can also opt to create a filter for the domain as an extra step to ensure you receive our emails.

    • Create a filter for the address by going to the Settings menu icon and selecting Settings
    • Click Filters, then Add and enter a Filter Name
    • Enter the domain to the Sender field and select Inbox as the folder to deliver the email to
    • Click Save
